How to add Chatloom to Squarespace

Sign up for Chatloom, paste your website address, and copy your one-line chat code from Install.

Go to Settings → Developer tools → Code injection (on older sites: Settings → Advanced → Code Injection).

Which Squarespace plan do I need?
Code Injection isn't available on Squarespace's cheapest plan, so you'll need one of the higher plans. On any plan, you can share a link to your chatbot.
Will it slow down my Squarespace site?
No. The chat is a small script (about 13 KB) that loads after the rest of your page, so your pages appear just as fast.
Do I need a developer?
No. You copy one line of code from Chatloom and paste it into Squarespace following the steps above. It takes a few minutes, and you can email the code to whoever looks after your site instead.
How much does it cost?
There's a free plan to start. Paid plans are $19 or $49 a month, or pay yearly and get 2 months free. No setup fees, and you can cancel any time.
